Well, this I really was not expecting. The guy I responded to sort of truthfully about why I joined e-harmony has actually replied to my questions. So he has read my possibly a little too to the point answer, knows feelings of mine that I haven't shared with some of my closest friends, and yet he has still responded. I'm not quite sure how to react.
I asked him the same question about why he joined e-harmony and his answer suggests he hasn't exactly had hundreds of relationships himself, which is fine by me. And he loves travelling, as do I. And he can spell and use correct grammar which is always a plus. Now I just need to pluck up the courage to send him an email and see what happens from there.

yes! this is a good sign!! you were open and honest and he didn't run away at the first sight of it. you gotta pluck up your courage and email him. you never know...
Well, it should definitely give you a little bit of hope. He looks like a goodie.
I hope you sent him the e-mail. Men who understand grammar are a hard find these days ;)
This is exciting!
You should definitely send him an email.
Thanks for the encouragement all! I only saw his responses late last night and have been busy this evening to haven't emailed yet, but I am going to. Men on e-harmony who understand good grammar are certainly rare!
Well, the way I see it, you already summoned up the courage to send him a really honest reply -- and he was intrigued enough to write back. You've already passed the scariest hurdle of being completely honest to a complete stranger.
What's the harm in replying and seeing where it goes? So far, he seems intriguing, but you never know. It might not pan out -- but then again, maybe it will. The point is, at least you'll know, right?
Putting yourself out there is hard -- trust me, I know!!! And rejection is par for the course, but it's something you have to be willing to risk in order to see if maybe...just maybe...this might be something interesting.
Hi Ecrivain - I have just sent an email to him, I wasn't entirely sure what to say in it, but you're right, being honest to his earlier question was definitely scarier.
